Hotel CLOSTERMANNS HOF is a beautiful listed building with a long and fascinating history. Originally the building was a prescience courtyard founded by Villich. Which means nothing other than, he was the financial person responsible for the courtyard and the religious founders served in this foundation or monastery.

In year 1804 the presence courtyard went through a phase of dispossession and finally ended in year 1815 as a Domain in the occupancy of the Prussian state. Around year 1821 the courtyard was leased for 170 Talern (old currency) and stood awaiting auction.

The estate was purchased by Nesselrode-Ehreshoven and converted shortly after to a large quadrangle structure, which integrated the mansion. After a further change of ownership to the family Clostermann, the estate carries the name Clostermanns Hof since the 19th century.

In summer 1993 opened an 18 hole golf course in the 90 hectares of grounds. Together with a 4 hole short course and a generously constructed Driving Range, Club members as well as guests from the hotel have the wonderful opportunity the entire year round to relax and enjoy a round of golf.

Hotel Clostermanns Hof opened its doors in April 1995 and provides not only a wide range of possibilities for conferences, short holidays and culinary delights, but also a hotel in a class of its very own.
